Lawrence W. Zahn is a shareholder with Cottrill Arbutina, a Pittsburgh Business Times "Top 20" certified public accounting firm.

Mr. Zahn focuses his tax, accounting and consulting practice on serving the unique needs of small and closely held businesses. He has a specialty in the field of automobile dealerships, and his clients include some of the largest multi-site auto dealers in the Western Pennsylvania region.

He also counts as clients a "who's who" of high net worth business leaders and entrepreneurs in Beaver County.

In the area of technology, Mr. Zahn consults with businesses on accounting software selection and implementation, last-in, first-out (LIFO) inventory issues and cost-segregation studies.

Prior to joining Cottrill Arbutina in 2008, Mr. Zahn was a shareholder with the Beaver Falls office of S.R. Snodgrass, A.C. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He serves on the finance committee of the New Brighton Free Methodist Church.

Mr. Zahn received his bachelor's degree in 1980 from what is now Robert Morris University and obtained his certified public accounting designation in Pennsylvania in 1983.

A resident of Hopewell Township, Mr. Zahn is married and the father of two sons. He enjoys tennis, hiking and kayaking.
