R. Kevin Gallagher is a project manager with the New Brighton office of Cottrill, Arbutina Professional Services.

He is a member of an audit team which serves privately held businesses and governmental, not-for-profit and financial institutions. Clients include a number of the top credit unions in the Pittsburgh region as ranked by asset size, and more than two-thirds of the public school districts in Beaver County.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Gallagher was an accountant with Northern Area Multi-Service Center, where he managed the general ledger for six companies with multi-million dollar combined gross revenues. He supervised a staff of four employees in accounts payable and receivable, and generated monthly closing financial statements, management reports and bank borrowing statements.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Gallagher was an accountant with John R. Zahner, CPA, in Aliquippa from 1992 to 1998. In this role, he audited a diverse portfolio of non-profit, single audit, Housing and Urban Development (HUD), county, borough and township clients. He also prepared tax returns for corporations, partnerships and individuals.

Mr. Gallagher has been a certified public accountant in Pennsylvania since 1996. He received his bachelor of science degree in accounting in 1992 from West Virginia University.

Active in the profession and community, Mr. Gallagher is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. He is an assistant baseball coach for the youth athletic clubs of Brighton Township and a member of Four Mile Presbyterian Church. While with Northern Area Multi-Service Center, he was a member of the company's United Way fundraising team. He currently resides with his wife and children in Brighton Township.
