R. Arbutina has been elected managing shareholder
of the New Brighton-based Cottrill, Arbutina Professional
Services, while Joseph
G. Bevevino has been named vice president and
Thomas J. Helsing
has been promoted to shareholder and chief operating officer.
Firm founder Dale L.
Cottrill continues as president and shareholder.
The firm now has seven shareholders and more than 40 employees
in offices in New Brighton, Beaver Falls, Pittsburgh and
Peters Township.
Arbutina and
Cottrill have built Cottrill Arbutina into Beaver County's
largest and fastest-growing CPA firm. They also are co-founders
of Cottrill, Arbutina Financial
Services, Inc., a wealth management and financial
planning firm. The CPA firm recently acquired a tax and
audit practice group from S.R. Snodgrass, C.A., and has
set double-digit growth records in volume each of the
past five years. A certified financial planner™, Arbutina
has been profiled in Kiplinger's and holds a
five-star designation in the Paladin Registry. He also
is included in the Guide to America's Best Financial
Planners.
Bevevino
concentrates his practice on serving more than
100 closely held businesses in Western Pennsylvania. Among
them are 40 automobile dealerships, including some of
the largest multi-site stores in the region. In addition,
he helps serve a "who's who" of high net worth
business leaders, professionals and entrepreneurs in Beaver
County in the area of tax planning and consulting. He
formerly was a partner with S.R. Snodgrass, C.A.
Helsing
is responsible for administering Cottrill
Arbutina's day-to-day operations. He also leads the firm's
Small Business Services Group which specializes in advising
closely held businesses with QuickBooks® consulting,
business consulting and outsourced bookkeeping. Before
joining Cottrill Arbutina, he served as vice president
and general manager of a division of Thermatex Corporation
in Newton Falls, Ohio, a producer of refractory products.
