L. Cottrill, CPA with the Benjamin Franklin Entrepreneurship Award honoring local companies that best capture Franklin's pioneering and entrepreneurial spirit.
Mr. Arbutina specializes in providing investment advisory services to closely held businesses in a variety of industries including manufacturing, professional services, retail and not-for-profits. In addition, he is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and has helped the firm build a more comprehensive investment practice encompassing business, investment and estate planning, including Marcellus Shale windfall earnings. Earlier in his career, he was a manager with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Pittsburgh. While there, he provided both audit and tax services to a diverse client base including publicly and privately-held domestic and international companies.
Mr. Arbutina is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Institute of Certified Financial Planners. He is a member of the board of directors of the Beaver Area Heritage Foundation, and as a former board director of Big
Brothers Big Sisters of Beaver County and co-chair of its annual auction, has helped raise $130,000 over the past several years. Previously, he served in leadership roles with the Beaver County Red Cross and the Rotary Club of Beaver. He holds a bachelor's degree from Gettysburg College and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business.
