Aug. 23, 2007 – Pegasus Associates Lighting, an entirely online retailer of unique lighting products, is honored by the Pittsburgh Business Times as the fourth fastest-growing privately held retail company in the region. Pegasus founders Win and Tom Farin receive their plaque at the "Pittsburgh 100" event at the prestigious Duquesne Club, flanked by Andy Kennedy (left, an accountant with Cottrill, Arbutina & Associates), and Tod Arbutina (co-founder of Cottrill, Arbutina Financial Services, Inc.), who nominated the company for the award.

Nov. 27, 2006 - Certified financial planner Tod R. Arbutina has been named in the Guide to America's Best Financial Planners, a report published every two years by the Consumers' Research Council of America. The Council is an independent research firm based in Washington, D.C. that evaluates professional services throughout the United States. The selection process is based on a system that awards points for education, years in practice and affiliations with professional associations.

Oct. 15, 2006 - Tod R. Arbutina is extensively quoted in a front page Beaver County Times article entitled "Landmark Year for Pensions," saying: "A pension is a promise. And we know that promises, from time to time, unfortunately, are broken."

Sept. 1, 2006 - Tod R. Arbutina comments on a recently released Paladin Registry survey of more than 10,000 investors nationwide showing that 86 percent of investors don't know how to determine the quality of their advisors before selecting them. April 18, 2006 - Pamela M. Roesch is seen here (at center) accepting the award as a finalist for the ATHENA Award of Beaver County, sponsored by the Beaver Valley Business and Professional Women/USA. In a profile, the Beaver County Times praised her work to provide "support and assistance for entrepreneurial and established women-owned businesses" and that one of her clients publicly said she wished she would have had the guidance of Pam and the firm when she first started her business. The award celebrates women who demonstrate excellence, creativity and initiative in their business or profession, as well as provides valuable service by contributing time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community, and actively assist women in realizing their full leadership potential.

Jan. 26, 2006 - Tod R. Arbutina, CFP, CPA™ is selected for inclusion in the pioneering Paladin Registry and awarded its five-star designation. (Click for his profile on the Paladin website.) March 28, 2005 – Tod R. Arbutina has been elected to the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Beaver County. Big Brothers Big Sisters serves hundreds of "at risk" children each year through matches with adult mentors who provide social, recreational, educational and cultural activities.
